4 Organisation softwares you need in your life

The beginning of the calendar year can be an absolute mess to organise. You've got birthdays, catch ups, holidays and all sorts to organise. On top of that they'll be countless deadlines, conferences and other work related commitments like meetings, conferences, it's enough to make your head spin!

With so many things to organise, you know there's no way you can do it alone. Not to worry because help is at hand! Here are 4 of the best organisation softwares you need to keep you sane for 2018 (and have other people think oh my god how do they do it?)

The important thing to remember is to not let the diary own you!

1) Trello

If you're a big fan of boards and colour coding things in order of importance, Trello is going to be a playground for you. Trello gives you the freedom to assign boards to people, set reminders, alarms, share documents and even allow you to add comments to them. Trello can be used for absolutely anything, from getting your holiday checklist done and dusted to organising that conference you've been dreading. An all rounder for a world with too much chaos.

2) Evernote

Evernote is brilliant for those on-the-go geniuses that have waves of inspiration on their way to work. You pull things from the web, draw, write anything you need to get those brainstorming juices flowing. Better yet you can share notes and ideas with others and get their opinion on it too. Probably not the best for personal use but it's amazing for anyone in the creative industry that maybe needs to tame their genius.

3) Slack

Are you and your colleagues the type to have an intense brainstorming session packed full of ideas and then struggle to remember everything you said? Or maybe you have a remote team and need something to help get you all in the same place? Slack is a brilliant tool that helps you manage communication across teams effectively. You can pin messages, share edited documents and comment on them and organise communications into little chats (eg HR, Marketing etc) which helps you get into contact with the right people. You can even set time zones on profiles so you know what time it is in your colleagues country and video chat!

4) Asana

We've saved the most intense organisation software till last. If you're finding that there's no solace in the chaos, this software will have you and everyone else in check! Asana is sued by some of the biggest companies in the world, from Deloitte to NASA. Asana allows you to as assign tasks, dates, deadlines, colour code and implement business strategies all the while showing you graphs and numerical aids to demonstrate productivity levels and growth. It's for those who're serious about organisation and are taking no prisoners!

Have you tried out any of these or have we forgotten one? Let us know!
